Team Rosters

Team sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 players per team. If your player(s) want to be on the same team as friends, please enter those names in the "Friend Request" fields during registration. If your player(s) want to a specific coach's team, please enter the coach's name in the "Coach Request" field. Before specifying a coach, PLEASE reach out to the coach directly so that they can plan for team size and confirm roster space. Please be aware while we will do our best to fulfill all players and/or coach requests, placement on a specific team is not 100% guaranteed.

  • Players who participated in the immediately prior Fall 2024 or Spring 2024 season will have first dibs to be on their same team from that prior season up to the maximum of 10 players. The league will coordinate with the Head Coach for the team to confirm previous rostered players and available team space. You may request a different team and will be placed based on your request unless the team you requested is full.

  • Players who did not play the previous seasons but are requesting a specific coach or friends will be placed on rosters based on roster space. If the requested team roster is full, we will do our best to place players with teammates from their same school or home location. If all teams with classmates are full or there are no other kids from the same school registered, then we will try to put them on a team from a nearby school.

SPRING 2025 Team Divisions

Team divisions are organized by grade level. When entering player information during registration, please enter the grade level your player is currently in this coming spring 2025.

*Grades 7-9 Division. If your seventh grader wants to play with past teammates and/or "play up" in a more competitive division, you can select an option to place them in the Grades 7/9 Division. We are doing this allow past teammates from previous Grades 6/8 Division teams to continue to play together.

If you have a fall 7th grader, you will be given the option to select which division level during registration.

  • The Grade 6/7 Division will ONLY have sixth and seventh grade players. We will not move any 8th graders into this group.
  • The Grade 7/9 Division will allow players up to ninth grade.

NOTE All players are welcome to play up to older divisions, however, we do not allow players to play down in younger aged divisions.

Team Practice Schedules

TEAM PRACTICESOur league does not have a set practice schedule for teams. Instead, each team's Head Coach sets their own practice schedule AND practice location. Please be aware that teams are not required to practice in River Falls. Teams may practice wherever it is most convenient for coaches and families, as long as teams do not interfere with school district or other athletic activities in their location. Players, parents and teams should plan to practice two nights per week for about 1 to 1.5 hours. Head Coaches will coordinate with parents on a weekly practice time and location.

BE A COACH TO YOUR KID'S TEAM!

Even if you have never coached football before, consider volunteering as a Head Coach for your team - it is a great experience and you make an impact on our young athletes.

If you are willing to volunteer to be a Head Coach for your Player's team, there is a separate Head Coach registration link below for you to complete. A team may have as many assistant coaches and parent supporters as needed, but league requires one parent to be registered as the Head Coach to serve as the main contact for the team and the league, and to be responsible for team communications, practice planning, and the code of conduct for players, parents, and team supporters.

There is no fee to be a Head Coach, however each Head Coach must pass a background screen in order to be eligible to coach in our league.

Each team's Head Coach will be responsible for scheduling regular practice days and times for his/her team and establishing regular communication with parents and players. Please plan that practices may start two to three weeks before the first Saturday game.

Please call 651-492-0713 or email cory@carbonitesports.com if you have any questions or problems during the registration process.

Refund policy: If you wish to cancel your registration, 70% of the registration fee will be refunded if the league is notified prior to 3/28/2025 Due to the costs of ordering jerseys, flag belts, game equipment and hiring referees, no refunds will be given after this date.
